Vacancies: Members of the Standards Advisory Council

The Trustees of the IASC Foundation are seeking applications for membership of the IASB’s Standards Advisory Council (SAC), after the terms of the current members expire at the end of 2008.

The primary objective of the SAC is to provide a forum where the IASB consults individuals and representatives of organisations that are affected by its work and are committed to the development of high quality International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).

The Trustees have decided that, under a new structure beginning in 2009, individual SAC members will preferably be representatives of organisations that have an interest in standard-setting and represent the various constituencies involved.
