On 14 July 2009 the IASB will publish an exposure draft on Financial Instruments: Classification and Measurement.
Warren McGregor, IASB member, Gavin Francis, Director of Capital Markets and Martin Friedhoff, Project Manager will be introducing the exposure draft in a live web presentation on Wednesday 15 July 2009. It will be followed by a Q&A session where registered participants can send in questions to be answered. This presentation follows a series of web presentations to keep interested parties up to date on progress of the project to replace IAS 39.
The web presentation and the question and answer sessions will be recorded and made available on the project website soon after the presentation.
