The International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC) Foundation today announced the release of the Financial Statements of its 2007 Annual Report using the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL).
Based on the IFRS Taxonomy 2008, the Financial Statements of the 2007 Annual Report of the IASC Foundation is now available as an XBRL instance document that reflects the PDF version and contains:
- a statement of comprehensive income,
- a statement of financial position,
- a statement of cash flows,
- notes to the financial statements
The XBRL version is fully consistent with the PDF version available on this Website. To achieve this the IASC Foundation’s XBRL Team created a specific extension to the IFRS Taxonomy 2008 with new elements to reflect the non-profit character of the IASC Foundation and to render the paper form of annual reports.
