Forthcoming and recorded webcasts
The IASB uses webcasts to keep interested parties up to date with its projects. Webcasts are usually presented when a discussion paper or major exposure draft is launched and may involve one or more IASB members and project staff. Webcasts are not a formal statement of the IASB’s position but present the views of those taking part.
Typically webcasts comprise a short presentation followed by a live question and answer session. However, sometimes the webcast is pre-recorded.
