The International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC) Foundation is the parent foundation, created as part of the reorganisation in 2000 to oversee the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) is the private sector independent body responsible for developing a single set of high quality global accounting standards for use throughout the world.
The IASC Foundation XBRL Team is a 7 person virtual group led by the XBRL Practice Fellow. The Team is made up of two full-time London based members, with the remainder contributing as part-time members, based outside the UK (as each have completed their London internship and returned to their home countries to finish their studies).
