Standard Formats

The European Committee of Central Balance Sheet Data Offices (ECCBSO) has developed a standardised common digital reporting format based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) - using MS Excel and the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL).

This reporting format, known as the Reduced Format, was developed by the 3rd Working Group (III WG) of ECCBSO. With the assistance of the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation (IASCF) XBRL Team this Reduced Format has been XBRL-enabled via an extension to the IFRS-GP taxonomy.
